SMC 5100 Series Combustible Monitor
The SMC 5100-02-IT gas sensor monitors combustible gases such as Methane, Hydrogen, Propane, and others. It is based on catalytic bead technology, a consistent and reliable method of detection that offers excellent response times to the target gases. The 5100-02-IT sensor offers multiple communication outputs including 4-20 mA and Modbus RTU.
SMC 5100 Series Toxic Gas Detector
The SMC 5100-XX-IT gas detector monitors toxic gases such as Hydrogen Sulfide, Carbon Monoxide, Nitrogen Dioxide, Ammonia, Oxygen Deficiency, and others. The detector requires calibration only every six months, cutting operating costs and time. As part of the SMC Sentry IT platform, the detector can be remotely diagnosed and calibrated via Remote Sensor Capability.
SMC 4501 Series Toxic Gas Detector
The SMC 4501-XX Detector monitors toxic gases such as Hydrogen Sulfide, Carbon Monoxide, Oxygen Deficiency, Chlorine Dioxide, and others. Utilizing 2-wire loop-powered technology, the 4501-XX requires less wiring, leading to better protection from wiring errors. The 4501-XX requires minimal maintenance with a 6-month calibration cycle and continuous self-diagnostics.
IR5500 Open Path Infrared Gas Detector
The IR5500 is an open path infrared (IR) gas detector that continuously monitors for flammable gas leaks over large open areas. It monitors in both the LEL-m and ppm-m ranges to detect both small and large leaks. The IR5500 offers the benefits of early detection with its high sensitivity to gas concentrations at the ppm levels. This feature allows it to alarm faster than an LEL-only detector. Digital display and adjustable mounting arms ensure easy alignment. Factory calibrated for low-maintenance operation.
FL500 UV/IR Flame Detector
The FL500 UV/IR Flame Detector monitors for radiation emitted by a flame in both the ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) spectral ranges. This UV/IR combination provides a fast response time and increased false alarm immunity against sources of radiation for reliable protection.
SMC 3200/3300 UV/IR
Wet Bench Flame Detectors
Ideally suited for areas where a short line of sight is a factor. The SMC 3200/3300 Series Flame Detectors utilize proven, stable UV/IR technology to continuously monitor for flames in wet bench and commercial applications. Due to its compact size, it is also used for installation in certain production equipment. The detectors can detect gasoline (heptane), polypropylene, isopropyl alcohol, MEK, hydrogen and silane fuel sources.
9010/9020 SIL Control System
9010/9020 SIL controller offers a maximum flexibility in conjunction with a wide variety of detectors. It operates with either one (9010) or two (9020) independent channels per control module which makes it logically independent, highly economical and therefore best suited for smaller gas detection
installations. The dual channel capability allows a high density packaging of up to 20 points in a single 19” rack.
Its new SIL compliant design offers a higher safety function to increase the protection level for facilities and people.
A high level of reliability is ensured as each control module is fitted with an independent AC/DC power supply unit and
logic circuit with software validated according to ATEX Directive.

Chillgard® VRF Refrigerant Leak Detector
The Chillgard VRF Refrigerant Leak Detector is the first industry detector for Variable Refrigerant Flow Systems (VRF) with integrated BACnet capability. Therefore, it can be directly connected with any Building Management system (BMS). MSA Bacharach’s MGS-450 Gas Detector makes compliance with refrigeration safety codes simple and easy, saving time and money on equipment and installation. Using the MGS-400 App, users can intuitively use, commission and maintain their gas detection system without the need for specialty training or tools. Pre-calibrated sensor modules simplify maintenance, take minutes to exchange and do not require the use of calibration gas.
